Teacher Collaboration

If you are still struggling to support students with LDs in the math class, do not hesitate to reach out to other educators. Collaborative teacher inquiry can be used to facilitate and investigate new ways of supporting students with learning disabilities (LDs) that affect their ability to comprehend and show their knowledge in math.

Watch the following video, created with educators from the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board (PVNCCDSB), in which educators discuss the importance of collaborative inquiry (CI) and how CI and manipulatives might be used to support the learning of students with LDs in the area of math.
