For students with learning disabilities (LDs), learning to read can be a challenge. However, we know that with the right support, nearly all students can become confident readers. LD@school spoke with former and current students and their parents about their journey of learning to read. By sharing their experiences and the supports that worked for them, students with LDs can help parents and educators understand how to help others who are struggling to learn to read. For a student with LDs, learning to read can be a life-changing experience.
