2026 Registration and Access Information

How to Access the Educators’ Institute

Participation in the Educators’ Institute is available through two pathways:

Pathway 1: School Board Participation for Ontario educators who may be eligible for complimentary, Ministry-supported access through their school board
Pathway 2: General Registration for individuals who are not participating through a school board allocation and wish to register directly

Pathway 1: School Board Participation

Complimentary Ministry-supported access through your school board

If you are an educator working within an Ontario publicly funded school board, Provincial or Demonstration School, eligible School Authority, or First Nations, Métis or Inuit school:

Do not register through the public registration link if you are seeking access through your school board
Submit your name through the Expression of Interest, a short form used to indicate your interest in participating through your school board
Participation is coordinated locally by school boards, with participation decisions made at the board level
Submission does not guarantee participation, but it helps LDAO and school boards understand educator interest across regions and roles

If additional spaces or participation opportunities become available, LDAO may follow up with educators who have expressed interest

Pathway 2: General Registration

Paid registration for individuals not participating through a school board allocation

If you are not participating through a school board allocation:

You may register directly through the public registration link
General registration confirms your participation in the Educators’ Institute 2026
Early bird rate: $150 with code SEBIRD
Regular rate: $225

Important

If you are an educator working within an Ontario publicly funded school board and are seeking complimentary access through your board, please do not register through General Registration.

Participation for school board educators is coordinated through Ministry-supported access and school board processes.

LDAO will share expressions of interest with school boards, and participation will be determined through board-level processes.

Ministry-Supported Access for Ontario School Boards

Participation for Ontario publicly funded educators is supported through access allocated to school boards.

School boards receive a set number of access points, informed by board size. These may be used to support individual or team-based participation, depending on local professional learning structures.

Thanks to the financial support of the Ontario Ministry of Education, this access is provided at no cost to participating Ontario publicly funded educators selected through their school board process.

Bilingual Professional Learning Offering

The Educators’ Institute is part of LDAO’s broader bilingual professional learning offering.

French-language programming is provided through TA@l’école through the Colloque des professionnels de l’enseignement, taking place virtually on August 11 and 12, 2026.
