The Educators’ Institute 2026
The Educators’ Institute, Unique Minds, Remarkable Potential, brings together educators, leaders, and partners to share strategies that help students with learning disabilities (LDs), ADHD, and struggling learners thrive.
This year’s Institute will focus on practical, classroom-ready approaches that connect research and practice to strengthen literacy and numeracy, build thinking and learning skills, foster belonging and well-being, and promote equity and innovation in Ontario classrooms.
Join hundreds of teachers, principals, and education professionals from across Ontario on August 18th and 19th, 2026, for two days of engaging, evidence-informed professional learning. The event will be held virtually.

How access to the Educators’ Institute works
Participation in the Educators’ Institute is supported through Ministry-funded access coordinated by Ontario school boards. Rather than individual tickets, school boards are allocated a set number of access points, which may be used to support participation by individual educators or shared participation by school- or system-based teams.
Educators do not register directly for Ministry-funded access.
An interest list is now open. Educators who add their name to the list are indicating interest in participating through their school board’s Ministry-funded allocation.
Submitting your name to the interest list does not guarantee access, but it helps boards and LDAO understand interest across regions and roles. LDAO will provide an update regarding Ministry-funded allocations by the end of June 2026. If additional access becomes available later, LDAO may follow up with educators on the interest list.

About the Annual Educators’ Institute
The Educators’ Institute is a two-day virtual professional learning event designed to provide educators with relevant and practical strategies to support students with learning disabilities (LDs), ADHD, and struggling learners.
The Educators’ Institute is delivered as part of LDAO’s broader bilingual conference offering, alongside the Colloque des professionnels de l’enseignement, which provides corresponding French-language programming (11 et 12 août 2026).
