About the Presenter:

Michayla Del Guidice

At eight years old, Michayla Del Guidice was diagnosed with several learning disabilities and told by the very system meant to support her that post-secondary education was simply not in her future. That diagnosis became the foundation of everything she has fought for since. Michayla went on to earn three post-secondary credentials: an Ontario Social Service Worker Diploma from Humber College, a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology from the University of Guelph, and a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Wilfrid Laurier University. Fuelled by her own experience navigating the system, she has spent seven years advocating for individuals with learning disabilities and three years building a career in post-secondary education at Mohawk College; always with the same goal of ensuring students like her younger self never feel invisible in the system.

Michayla is the Founder of AlignHER Consulting, REAL Queen’s United, and an international public speaker who has graced stages at mental health conferences and campuses across the country. She is also the host of The REAL Queen Revolution Podcast, a globally recognized platform built around confidence, identity, and living authentically. The current Canadian National Ms. Brantford and a proud new girl mom to her four-month-old daughter, Michayla shows up to every stage with the same mission, to be the person she needed when she was that eight-year-old girl who was told she wasn’t enough.
