Drawing from both personal and professional experience, Michayla speaks about the importance of understanding your IEP and diagnosis, choosing a program and course load that align with your strengths and needs, and building self-advocacy skills that support success in post-secondary settings.
The webinar also highlights practical strategies for navigating the transition to college or university, including how to access supports on campus, how to communicate accommodation needs, and how to approach post-secondary pathways with greater confidence and self-understanding.
This webinar offers an encouraging and informative perspective for students, families, and educators supporting the transition to post-secondary education.
