Choose one of the Five Pillars of Reading Instruction. Using the organizer, plan how you would teach, re-teach, and assess one specific skill at each Tier of intervention (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3).
Prompt 2:
Think of a student in your class who has moved from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and back again.
Reflect on:
- What skill was being supported?
- What led to the move between tiers?
- How did the flexible, needs-based approach benefit the student?
